Frequently Asked Questions

Why am I qualified to do this?

With 10 years experience working in HR and also 5 years as a recruiter, I know what it’s like to make people redundant and also how to approach looking for a job.

This gives me a unique insight into all sides of the redundancy process and what it takes to be successful in the job market.

I’ve also been made redundant and know, from first hand experience, how challenging it can be.

Not only that but I have a post-graduate certificate in professional coaching.

I have only a small business, can you still help?

I work with companies with as few as 5 staff and the Outplacement Program is priced accordingly.

What about Confidentiality and Professional Ethics

Angela adheres to the ethics, integrity and standards for behaviour as set by the CDANZ as well as the ICF code of conduct and Code of Ethics.

I can almost not believe the change I’ve seen. In 4 short months I’ve gone from being severely unhappy in my workplace to gaining the confidence to leave and believing that I can have a lot better for myself and making it happen. Right now, I am developing skills in a completely different industry that I can see myself being in for years to come!

Angela helped me every step of the way – she helped me discover what my values are, how they could look in terms of work. She supported me through developing my own CV and interview skills and aided me in transitioning into a new place of work – all the while bolstering my self-confidence.

Though not always a comfortable process, Angela has given me the push and inspiration to get up out of the rut I was in. I now feel an eagerness for my work life, and improved career confidence, which I think most people do not have the privilege of experiencing.

I consulted Angela as I was unsure of the direction I wanted to go in my career. At age 49 I was feeling stagnated and wanted a clearer path. I felt frustrated as I knew from observing the capability of others in the organization that I was capable of a more senior role with a lot more responsibility and ultimately, a higher salary but wasn’t sure how to move forward.

She helped me see and seek opportunities I hadn’t necessarily thought of. I learned that I can go for roles outside of my comfort zone and get them!

I have no doubt that the career coaching I had with Angela has enabled me to make a significant career leap in a very short time. The job I have recently accepted offers more than I could have imagined in terms of challenge, the ability to make a difference, use my skillset and with remuneration to match.

Jo

I came to Angela as I was extremely unhappy in my workplace. I was unhappy with the company culture, the pay and my levels of stress. But I also felt stuck there.
I was hoping Angela would be able to help me develop some clarity and confidence about what I wanted to do next as I didn’t want ‘just another job’. I wanted to do something that would make me happy and keep me interested and stimulated with the opportunity to earn more. The issue was, I didn’t know what that looked like or even what industry I wanted to be in.

The best result is how I see myself now. I see myself as a capable, likeable and intelligent person who can succeed at anything I put my mind to – you can’t put a price on that. I couldn’t be happier with my results!
